Capsicum annuum ‘Cayenne’ (Chilli) Seed

Description Capsicum annuum ‘Cayenne’ is a moderately hot chilli pepper, generally rated at 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville units. Cayenne peppers are 10 to 25 cm long, generally skinny, tapering shape with curved tip. They are most commonly a glossy red with a slightly wrinkled texture.   Germination. To germinate Capsicum annuum ‘Cayenne’ seeds, sow in light, well-drained soil medium. Keep in a warm location at a temperature of at least 16 C until the seeds sprout in 16 to 20 days.
